Compassion as defined by Webster's Online Dictionary

1. A deep awareness of and sympathy for another's suffering.

2. The humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it.

Compassion is also one of those emotions that can be hard to explain or teach. Shadow Ranch offers a tangible way to teach compassion by everything we do and every step we take in helping others.
 

Adult & Teen Non-Violent Offender Program:

 • Shadow Ranch will be working with adult and teen court systems within our service area to help non-violent offenders work off community service hours.  Here they will hear, see and feel what compassion is all about.
It will not be easy...trust!!  It may, however be life altering.
